The seven signals
Discount against the regular price contributes 30%; distance from the historical low 25%; player rating 15%; popularity and 30-day price momentum 10%; data freshness 10%; store trust 5%; and game age 5%. Every component is normalised before the weighted result is calculated.
Why quality and confidence matter
A cheap game with poor reviews is not automatically a great buy. Player feedback reduces the chance that a dramatic markdown on unwanted software outranks a genuinely strong title. Missing history is treated neutrally rather than invented, while each game page shows how many local price observations support its chart.
From score to BUY or WAIT
The verdict also checks practical thresholds. A price within 5% of the recorded low and solid player sentiment can earn BUY NOW. A high headline discount far above the low becomes a weak promotion. WAIT appears only when the possible saving is material, so the system does not tell a player to wait weeks to save pennies.
Commercial independence
Store links may be affiliate links, but commission is not an input, tie-breaker or hidden boost. Offers are ordered by observed price and deal quality. The final checkout price belongs to the store, so GameDealRadar always asks the buyer to verify it before paying.
